final thoughts on TC drama.
I think, at the end of the day, maybe some of the members of Team Crafted kind of got caught up in the popularity and the business aspect of their lives that they lost sight of some of the things that were their foundation, their start, their beginnings, their past. And that’s acceptable. It happens to the best of us.
After reading how Adam reached out to Kermit, in the midst of all of this drama and chaos, I feel as if they are all realizing something huge. And I feel like this
shitstorm frenzy of a spectacle can bring a lot of the MC community together again.
I feel as if they did not really know what they were doing when they spoke to Kermit or to Seto. Perhaps they had the right intentions, but miscommunication and a subsequent internalization of the miscommunication ended up turning this entire saga into something bigger than it really should have been.
As I said in my last Seto post, ultimately, both Kermit and Seto fell victim to something called creative differences. It’s not their fault that a majority of TC felt as if they needed to move in a different direction or that Seto and Kermit did not feel comfortable with such differences.
And what probably would have happened down the road is that Seto would have quit, just as Kermit did. Because what I gather about Seto is that he is a very sturdy individual who is steadfast in his beliefs about himself and in who he is as a person and a YouTuber. Seeing the direction in which TC was going, he would have backed out, sooner or later. Why he was holding on to something that was changing right before his very eyes is a question we will never really be able to answer, but at the end of the day, Seto and TC were moving in different directions.
1. Do I agree with how TC kicked Seto? No, of course not. But do I agree with how publicly Seto spoke about his ordeal? Not in the slightest. There were better ways to go about this. Making a video for the world to see and expressing everything for the first time to an unsuspecting audience? Shit will hit the fan, no matter how many times you say you don’t want hate on either side and that you want to move on. And I don’t know if Seto consciously realized that, but I’m almost 85% positive he subconsciously knew the consequences of that video.
There was no getting around the hate, especially with something as controversial of a move as the ousting of a member of TC.
2. Do I agree with how TC is currently handling the situation? Yes, to an extent. Although the fans are angry that TC isn’t giving an explanation, Kermit had a point.
Why do you think team crafted doesn’t just make a video about this stuff. Seto put up his pov and most of the fans then looked at team crafted and made assumptions. Why doesn’t tc just come out and say, this is what happened. This is why. It would be nice to know what’s up, not to blame anyone.
Becuase its not that easy. If TC put out a video people would be then quick to jump onto their side and start hating on Seto. Untill people can be mature and respectful about things no progress will ever be made.
And that’s simply what’s going on. Unfortunately, TC had to learn from Seto’s mistake and realize that a public video was not going to help anyone. If anything, it would create a full-blown war within the MC community between Seto-sympathizers and TC loyalists. If I am correct in my assumptions, my best guess is that they are currently communicating with Seto and resolving these issues off-camera. Because… And I will say this once and for all…
This is an issue between Seto and TC. The fans should never have gotten involved. Period.
Every fan will not be satisfied with whatever video TC puts out. Just as every fan will not be satisfied with whatever Seto will put out on the events. The fans have made the issue worse and have blown it completely out of proportions, making it even more difficult for everyone involved.
Therefore, let’s keep our noses out of this, and let TC and Seto resolve this problem. We are not their mediators. We are not their counselors. Let them hash this out, as if it were any other argument between any other person. Because at the end of the day, Seto and TC are people. And we tend to forget that.
